Break Out of The Cocoon and Spring into Transformation

“The way of cowardice is to embed ourselves in a coccoon, in which we perpetuate our habitual patterns. When we are constantly recreating our basic patterns of behavior and thought, we never have to leap into fresh air or onto fresh ground.” –Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

We’re getting excited over here because the newest Kundalini Yoga Bootcamp begins next week at Goldenbridge in Hollywood.  It’s a 10-day intensive which is designed to help you catapult yourself to the next level.  The idea is to get started and gain some momentum.  Perhaps that momentum will give you insight into how you want to shape your regular practice.  Perhaps you’ll decide to continue and do 40 days of practice and really solidify change.  No matter what you decide, to do after, the important thing is to start now.

butterflyWe become slaves to our habits and when our habits become deeply ingrained it gets harder and harder to break free. We build a cocoon around ourselves. It takes courage and energy to pierce this cocoon and evolve to the next level of excellence.

How do you get this courage and energy? Practice.  And if we’re lucky we do it efficiently.

The Bootcamp combines several powerful tools which give you leverage– the ability to move more with less. The combination of the group energy, early morning start, sound, breath, gong and posture are together a multiplying force. This added energy can catapult you out of your cocoon and give you the momentum to take your best game to the next level.

Even if you can’t be at the bootcamp physically– start wherever you are.  Do some yoga.  Make a committment to practice some meditation for 10, 20 or 40 days and see what changes in your life.  It begins when you begin.

We start in one a week. I hope you can make it.
