Why is Meditation Hard Work?

This is a great discussion of meditation by a great mind. Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, PhD., helped with the writing of the book “The Mind, Its Projections And Multiple Facets” by Yogi Bhajan, PhD. He’s a brilliant yogi and he really knows his stuff. For those of you who may be put off by appearances, forget about the turban and the Sikh religion for a moment and really listen to what he is saying about meditation on a strictly human level. It’s a wonderful discussion.

Enjoy!

  1. It works sometimes and when it does its awesome but its such a delicate state and its so intangible I forget how I got it and I try to hard to get it back and I loose it!

Re staying in the present moment without thoughts or negative emotions.

  2. Jay– meditation is like going to work. You just do it the best your can. When you have a good day you’re grateful. If you wake up in the morning and it’s raining, you still go to work.
